The Primary School Sport & Health Programme has been running since September 2011. Building upon the success of the City Academy Bristol School Sport Partnership which was branded as ‘Outstanding & Unique’ in an Ofsted best practice survey, this programme offers local primary schools a bespoke menu of opportunities which will enhance their PE, sport and health provision.
Primary Schools buy in to the programme and get a variety of opportunities, as standard, as well as a comprehensive menu from which to choose the most appropriate support for their school.
Everything on the ‘menu’ is linked to the Ofsted Framework and includes elements which will have an impact on whole school development such as ‘using physical activity to improve boys handwriting’ or “CPD which is ‘in house’ and support NQTs”.
Everything on the programme is delivered by qualified and experienced coaches and teachers.
